AT&T started rolling out Android 4.3 to Galaxy S4 Active users

Yesterday AT&T started an OTA update to Jelly Bean (Android 4.3) for it's Samsung Galaxy S4 Active users.  The update weighed in at 772 MB, so unless you've got some 4G it might take a little while.  Set it to download in the background and go about your day.  As always, make sure your phone is good and charged before you begin the update.  It can take a while and might eat a little battery up.

Among the changes are 1080p Netflix, Open GL ES support, some bluetooth technology updates and much more.  You can read all about the update rollout and the changes specific to Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) at each of the links below:

The AT&T Samsung Focus S is yet another in the (getting long) line of windows smartphones.  It's not Windows Phone 8 by any stretch, but Samsung took care of having the first windows 8 phone with the ATIV S.  With no dual-core processor or even true 4g data we can't call it a high-end Windows Phone device but prior to the launch of the Samsung ATIV S this is going to be about as good as they come.

Here's what the rest of the internets have to say about this phone, the AT&T Samsung Focus S:

After experiencing a delayed launch the Samsung Galaxy S III has dropped on AT&T's network.  Even in red like the picture above.  This is the phone many of us have been waiting for and it seems to be living up to expectations.  We can see why Apple is scared and has them in court fighting over rectangles.  This phone, like many other Android phones before it, is certainly an "iphone killer".  I think we'll see it might even "kill" the iPhone 5 when it's released.

The Samsung Infuse is AT&T's largest Android with a 4.5" Super-AMOLED 'Plus' screen.  Unfortunatley underneat that screen is a single core processor, although it is a 1.2GHz.  Not only is it one of the largest phones, it's also one of the thinnest at just 9-millimeters at it's thinest.  Throw in an 8MP rear-facing and 1.3MP front-facing cameras, the media hub to deliver movies and tv and you've got a nice little phone...all running on Android 2.2.
